“Lonesome Polecat” from the 1954 musical 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, directed by Stanley Donen. The movie was shot once in CinemaScope and once in 1:77 so there are two slightly different versions. This clip comes from the CinemaScope version. I think the choreography and staging of this entire song is amazing plus it’s a really pretty song.
